Guest Lecture by SMS

On 11th April 2024, School of Management Studies organized a Guest Lecture on cross selling strategies in insurance sector . The keynote speaker was Mr. Subhash , Senior branch manager , reliance nippon life insurance ltd .Mr. Subhash has rich experience of more than 15 years in marketing and sales . Mr. Subhash expresses the deep concern in understanding of insurance regulatory mechanism and setting consumer claims . He said in this present era students should know all insurance regulatory mechanism and how Insurance is the biggest investment after covid 19 . Mr Subhash was accompanied with Mr Bakshish Singh , Senior member of nalagarh branch , Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Ltd they both highlights few points which every management student should know few of them are : 1. The challenges that the insurance sector is facing in India. 2 The opportunities that the insurance sector in India is having. 3.the growth of private insurance sector in India. 4.The role of the Insurance Regulatory Authority of India (IRDA) in regulating insurance business in India. 5.The determinants (Economic, demographic, Risk factor etc.) of the insurance policy holders.The emphasis was on explaining the contribution of Insurance sector to the financial savings of the household sector in the country, which are further channelized into various investment avenues. The session was very interactive and all the students appreciated the presentation delivered by the keynote speaker. In the end, Prof ( Dr) Arun Kant Painoli Dean, of the School of Management Studies proposed a vote of thanks.
