Fellowship Details

Baddi University provides a dedicated Ph.D. Scholarship/Fellowship to support full-time research scholars and promote high-quality research across disciplines. The Fellowship aims to encourage academic excellence and ensure that scholars can focus on their doctoral work without financial constraints.

1. Objective

• To offer financial assistance to full-time Ph.D. scholars.
• To promote a strong research culture and support scholarly productivity.

2. Eligibility

• Must be enrolled as a full-time Ph.D. scholar at Baddi University.
• Must not be receiving any external fellowship (JRF, SRF, project-based fellowship, etc.).
• Must meet University admission norms and research requirements.

3. Fellowship Components

• Monthly Fellowship Amount: As approved by the University.
• Contingency Support (if applicable): For research-related academic expenses.
• Duration is linked with the Ph.D. programme timeline and University regulations.

4. Conditions for Availing Fellowship

• Regular attendance and active participation in research activities.
• Satisfactory progress as evaluated by the Supervisor / DRC / RAC.
• Compliance with research ethics, plagiarism policies, and academic discipline.

5. Continuation of Fellowship

• Fellowship continues only upon meeting required milestones and progress reviews.
• May be discontinued if performance is unsatisfactory or University rules are violated.

6. Restrictions

• Scholars receiving any other financial fellowship are not eligible for this support.
• Employment or external assignments require prior approval of the University.

7. University Authority

• The amount, duration, and terms of the fellowship are decided by the University.
• The decision of the competent authority regarding grant or discontinuation is final.
